Great episode, but i just wanted to touch on the conversation around Last One Laughing. As you mentioned, all the international versions are localized versions of Documental from Japan. That show was created and hosted by Hitoshi Matsumoto, who is a very famous comedian in Japan and part of the long standing comedy pair, Downtown.
Downtown has had a variety show for well over 30 years called "Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!" (or just Gaki no Tsukai) and from 2003ish to 2019, they did a New Years special that would be 3-6 hours long that were 24 hour no laughing challenges. The 5 hosts would be put into a themed location (spa, hospital, police station) that would be filled with gags and celebrities to make them laugh and if they did break, a masked guard would come in and smack them on the butt.
These specials were so popular, and Matsumoto wanted to take that idea and apply it to other comedians in a no holds barred mind game where he'd get 10 comedians in a room and the one who lasts the longest without laughing would win a pool of money.
So all that to say, Matsumoto may not have created the idea of a no-laugh challenge, but he has been doing it for well over 20 years.
Speaking of Idle Games, I know this isn't a flex but by the time I 100%ed NGUIdle I had 43,116.6 logged (I kept it open). These 7 hr games are preferred.
