The Besties went through HELL to record this episode. With Griffin and Justin out, Frushtick and Plante prepared to record with a special guest. But after I (Plante) spilled water all over my recording setup, Frushtick was left to talk about Hades 2 as the sole Besty. Fortunately, he had backup. Into the Aether's Brendon Bigley joined the show for the podcast crossover event of the year!
I know, it’s another week without a proper breakdown. But I promise things will return to normal next week!
This week on The Besties Bonus Patreon: The Resties shared a super fun new Zelda-like that blends in twin-stick shooter combat! Plus, Frusthick shocked Plante with an EXTREMELY NSFW GAME… that’s actually pretty good!

My 2¢ on waiting til full release for hades 2: my interest in a given game usually comes in a single, intense, several-week burst. I loved hades to death and I want to see all of hades 2. My worry is not that it’s not great right now (I’m sure it is), but that whether I like it or not, when the extra level/ending content is complete and the game is in full release, I won’t be interested in it. I want my honeymoon phase with the game to be with the full game; it’s just how my brain works, and as a result I am not a big fan of the early access model in general - though it is what it is.
