Death Stranding is my favorite game of all time despite its rough edges and slow pace. I’m so excited to play DS2 this weekend and really get to dig into it. Pro tips for anyone who is struggling with it: use the Bridge Link system to find and add friends on the network, adding a few really high level players will make it so their structures appear more often and in general the really experienced players have optimized their structures appear layout so you can save a ton of bandwidth on the chiral network. Another cool trick that helped in the first game was smashing a piss grenade against your truck would temporarily stop BTs from attacking it so for folks who wanna just cruise you can try that, although I don’t know if there are EX 1 grenades in this one I have so far only got the new hematic ones. Another tip, if you rest you recover stamina and if you rest near a holographic cairn it is way more effective. Even if you don’t need to rest do so because that will further strengthen the cairn’s boost.
I pushed through the main game and now going back to each place to get 5 stars and every single upgrade and update is a nice QoL over DS1. What a fantastic time and I’m happy it CONNECTED with Griffin this time around.
Hey guys, not that the Nintendo switch, of all consoles, needs more promotion, but would you guys consider doing a kind of retrospective episode on it, the way that you have done games of the decade and stuff before?
That could maybe be more of a Resties or bracket episode of best switch games maybe, but now that we’re moving on from the first Switch, it feels like a significant era is ending, even if it’s just being extended really by almost the same console. Hell of a library to look back on too, considering how slim this launch is up until year end.
Just a thought, I’d be interested to hear even everyone’s favourite switch game or top 3, so long as you hold Griffin down before he gets to Tears of the Kingdom
