Heard the question last week about great video game soundtracks and had to make an account on here just to recommend. Highly recommend Outer Wilds as one of the best modern soundtracks for doing work or just chilling out. It has a blend of huge orchestra sounds, some mysterious and spacey tracks, and relaxing folk vibes.
PSA for anyone thinking about getting Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for PS5: do NOT do it. There are so many bugs, including really terrible audio clipping that made the game unplayable.
I cannot wait to hear what ya’ll have to say about this switch 2 direct, because it really left a bad taste in my mouth and I can’t really pinpoint exactly why
In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, sometimes if you get hurt real bad you need to make yourself sleepytime tea in real time and take a nap and that is why it’s my GOTY

Question: My kid loves video games with level creators, and house building. She has built tons of houses for Link in TOTK. She spends hours crafting levels in Fall Guys, Mario Maker, and Minecraft. Any recommendations for games that have level creators or a free form construction element? I am especially interested in games that don't require resource gathering.
Wanted to say this about Nubby's Number Factory: the developer is a college student who made this game in his free time and with its popularity is able to pay for his tuition.

Chris, I unfortunately had the same movie experience during Black Bag, except this man was alone and sat directly next to me. You can’t do anything and it is actually a small personal hell.
Has any of you checked out the first Rise of the Golden Idol DLC? To me, narrative puzzles on Netflix like this one, Immortality and Storyteller are the perfect games to play on a tablet.

That's strange, I had an opposite experience. 107 hrs on PS5 and not a single issue.

I’m so glad you guys talked about kcd2. Definitely my goty so far. I recommend mouse and keyboard especially for the alchemy/blacksmithing

The Sims 4 base game is free and has a very detailed build mode - plenty of people just build and don't touch the gameplay at all.
Really interested in next week's episode in reaction to the Switch 2 direct.
But in the meantime, this was great! I learned so much about that other direct that I didn't watch 😅
