Just would like to add here if your at all interested in a deep dive into the whole Unity debacle I recommend listening to the latest episode of Dropped Frames featuring indie dev. Rami Ishmail. It's on YouTube and podcaster of choice.

I'm not sure how they will feel about my Monkeybone on loop for 24-hour marathon pitch, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

I wonder why they wouldn't shout of Godot engine for hobbyist creators?

It's free forever, and there are some great games developed on it:

- The Case of the Golden Idol

- Luck be a Landlord

- Cruelty Squad

- Sonic Colors: Ultimate

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on Niantic’s new mobile installment with Capcom, “Monster Hunter: Now”. How well does it hold true to the Monster Hunter world and how does it compare to Pokémon Go?

question:

this might be like so far out of your guy’s radar but. Have you seen Decked Out from this season of Hermitcraft. It’s complicated but essentially the youtuber Tango made an entire multilevel rougelite dungeon crawler game in a (mostly) vanilla minecraft server. it’s insane and totally worth checking out!

Fully unrelated, but...

I desperately need Plante's opinion on the new Harmony Korine film Aggro Dr1ft. It's a gaudy, love-it-or-hate-it, GTA-inspired plotless fever dream shot entirely with infrared cameras. It's got 40% on Rotten Tomatoes but I saw it with a midnight crowd at TIFF and it killed in that room. Whatever its virtues, it definitely belongs in the canon of "video game movies."
