Listen to this week’s episode
Hey Besties buddies, it’s Plante! I’ve been traveling for roughly 36 hours. Long story short: I missed this episode recording session and wrote this newsletter from the plane. I’m scheduling it to go live on Friday — fingers crossed that works!
Unfortunately, I don’t have the usual meaty newsletter for you. But, things should be back to normal next week. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this episode. I’m looking forward to listening alongside y’all!
This week, we dig into the latest Princess Peach game along with the complicated legacy of Nintendo’s other Princess Peach adventure. We also find out what Justin thinks about Dragon's Dogma 2, and discuss what's going on with the Stardew Valley 1.6 update.

It is maddening that The Besties went through the entire Pepper Grinder discussion without mentioning Drill Dozer once. If you haven't checked it out, it's a drill-based platformer by Game Freak that released on GBA (with a rumble cartridge to "feel the drill") and is likely a huge inspiration for Pepper Grinder.
