So a few years ago I worked with a director and sound technician who were in the studio for A Way Out. According to them, Josef Fares showed up with a completely unintelligible script, which they had to practically rewrite for him line-by-line (uncredited, of course) while the actors just stood around waiting to have something to work with.
Having tried and failed to play through the game, which my partner described as "if Tommy Wiseau directed the next Naughty Dog game," I think it tracks.
Russ taking a Zoi to “pork city” was both completely expected and unexpected.
