Game tip if you love obra din, outer wilds and the case of the golden idol

Hey guys, I recently head about a game called shadows of doubt. It is a puzzle game where you solve a murder in an immersive sim style city. It is overwhelmingly positive on steam. people seem te love it for the same reason they love the games I mentioned before. The game lets you figure it out yourself and makes you feel smart with incredible “aha!” Moments.

It’s out on steam and will come out on PS5 later this year. (That’s why this PS boy can’t play it yet) It sounds like something you would like.

I think with our sense of humor, I'm really looking forward to playing Thank Goodness You're Here with my husband, trading the controller back and forth. it feels like it'll play well there.

more than anything, I cannot WAIT to hear y'all talk about The Operator. as mentioned in a past comment, I immediately downloaded it after y'all mentioned it and I devoured it in two days. I'd love to hear you talk about the difficulty bell curve in games like this. I really enjoyed it but honestly (minus one dang bomb-based puzzle) it felt almost more like a visual novel than a puzzle game because the puzzles felt relatively easy. comparing it in my brain to trying to track shoes and hammock tags in Obra Dinn, beating my head against the wall trying to get the sand temple timing right in Outer Wilds, or having to do so much math to finish Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, and it's hard to feel like The Operator put up much of a challenge. nothing wrong with that necessarily, I'm curious about y'all's thoughts on difficulty in puzzle games like these!
